The European commission has selected our ‘EU Reporter’ project from twelve other civic participation projects that encourage action and debate on EU issues at a grass-roots level. This projet is also known under Europe on the ground, our well known grass-roots journalism project in European cities. EU Reporter has been financed by the European Commission and the City of Paris through its program Label Paris Europe.

The 2008 Golden Stars are awarded as part of the Europe for Citizens program. They give official recognition to initiatives that showcase co-operation, effective working methods and tangible results in the area of civic participation.
